Hi my name is Sim Davis. I’m a photographer and student at the University of Cumbria, studying Adventure & Media. This blog is where I post the pictures and Writing from my travels round the UK and further a field as well as the current creative influences that I am looking at.
I started out with Photography when I came to University, before that I was used to DSLR’s as they have always been round the house having a family which contains artists, illustrators and keen photographers. The film camera never really caught my attention enough as a teenager but with the advent of digital and the abilitly for me to shoot and shoot and shoot without having to pay out every time for processing meant that it gradually had more of a role in my life.
Now I rarely go out without it and use it as a way to take a record of the places, people and wonders that I have seen.
